THE BEACH Will you go dear for a walk, On the beach with me? Walking barefoot in the sand, Right beside the sea? As we look up toward the sky, I'll see the starlight catch your eyes. And when you turn to look toward me, I'll have to drop to bended knee. I'll be your servant right then and there. You could put a leash on me anywhere. If you'll pull me up into your arms, I will protect you, and keep you free from harm. As we lay down in the sand, And look up toward the sky, You roll into my arms, I'll love you till I die! Your kisses on my lips, My arms around your hips. Our hearts are pounding fast. I want this night to last. I wake up from this dream, And nearly want to scream. Since I don't want you to go, It's back to sleep I go! By: Robert Edgar Burns 1/19/2002 |

DEAR
LORD
Your kisses still wet on my lips, I watch you drive away. And as you move away from sight, Then I just have to pray; Dear Lord go with my baby. I hope you know today, That she's the one to keep me here, From ever going astray. Dear Lord oh please protect her. Bless her today I pray. Take all her ills and pains and cares, And troubles far away. And as I'm praying for you, I also close my eyes. I remember then those kisses, With warmth, and love, and pride. And as I do I take my tongue And brush my lips, it's true. For I'm reliving those sweet kisses, And again I'm feeling you. I remember also holding hands, So delicate and soft. And I would hold them anywhere, In a mansion or hay loft. Dear Lord go with my Darling. I love her more than life. Take away her pain again I pray, And every single strife. Dear Lord thank You for blessing me With the wonders of this girl. She is the greatest blessing, I've had while in this world! By: Robert Edgar Burns 1/20.2002 |
